Gulf & Global Jobs publishes plain-English job guides for people looking for work in the Gulf and overseas — Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Italy, New Zealand, Australia and Canada.
What we do
Each guide explains one type of role: what the work involves, what employers usually ask for, what to check before you accept an offer, and how to prepare an application. The aim is that someone reading on a phone, in a second language, can understand the job and decide whether it is worth applying for.
What we are not
We are not a recruitment agency and we are not a licensed manpower company. We do not represent employers, we do not process applications on their behalf, and we cannot offer anyone a job or a visa.
We never charge for a job, a visa, an interview or a placement. If anyone contacts you asking for money using our name, do not pay them — please tell us instead.
How to use the guides safely
- Check every employer directly through their own website or careers page.
- Read the contract before you travel, and keep a copy.
- Confirm salary, hours, accommodation and visa arrangements in writing.
- Never hand over your passport or pay a recruitment fee to an individual.
